How to Graduate

1. Complete your Application to Graduate at StudentAccess.


2. Schedule a Grad Check* with your academic counselor after submitting your application. *Not required for Physical Sciences.


3. Visit the Career Center – Have the staff review your résume, pick up information about graduate school and admissions tests, attend job fairs on campus and participate in practice interviews.


4. Go to UCI Bookstore’s GradExpo in January – Order your cap and gown, get the latest information on Commencement, join the UCI Alumni Association, buy your diploma frame and sash and much more.


5. Order your graduation announcements and invitations at the UCI Bookstore.


6. Sign up for your Senior Portrait.


7. Order an Anthology yearbook.


8. Reserve Commencement guest tickets beginning April 7.


9. Pick up your pre-ordered cap and gown, pre-reserved guest tickets, and Anthology yearbook at Senior Send-off Week, June 2-6, 2008, at the Phineas Banning Alumni House.


10. Arrive one hour before your Commencement ceremony to line up (bring pre-printed name card). Remember to give tickets to your guests PRIOR to your ceremony lineup time.
